WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT THE EVENING SHOWS (for ages 9+):
In a certain wood on a certain night, you find yourself entering the realm of the Quarantined. The choices these souls made in life have followed them to their death. The Quarantined dwell behind trees, under bridges and just-out-of-sight: get too close and you may be snatched into their murky realm. Stray too far and you may fall to their fate. Walk down the middle of the path and you will see their tale for what it truly is: the unnerving specter of family turmoil, greed, and helpless voices pleading for release. QUARANTINE is appropriate for ages 9+.
The video from the 2009 YTN production of Alone in the Dark on the website is a good indication of what to expect from the evening shows
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT DAYTIME SHOWS (for ages 3+):
For younger children: a less frightening version of the show called Once Upon a Halloween will perform during the daytime on Sundays. This show is appropriate for ages 3+. The biggest difference is that it's during daylight hours, which will take away much of the scary atmosphere. Each tour will still meet a cast of woodland characters who will need help, but the more unsettling or upsetting elements from the evening shows will be toned down.
The Once Upon a Halloween guided trick or treat shows will be given on Oct.
